POSITION SUMMARY
Grady High School is looking for highly qualified Special Education Interrelated High Science Teachers for the 2019-2020 school year. We are seeking motivated individuals who have the ability to ensure student success through differentiated instruction. The candidate must be able to create and maintain a climate that promotes respect- tolerance and peaceful problem solving for all students. This position reports to the Principal.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Requirements: EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree required with at least a 2.5 GPA.
CERTIFICATION:
Minimum of a T4-Certification in Special Education General Curriculum Consultative (P-12) and the (6-12) science core academic content area; OR Passed the GACE Program Admissions Assessment or have exemption eligibility (ACT/SAT scores) and passed the GACE in Special Education General Curriculum Consultative (P-12) and Science (6-12) AND GACE Educator Ethics Program Entry;
EXPERIENCE: Zero (0) years of teaching experience.
Compensation: Salary Grade: T4 - T7
Salary Range: $46, 460- $91, 688

- Prepares lessons and outlines to use in class that effectively cover the material.
- Administers various types of assessments to monitor students performance, behavior and other issues.
- Attends faculty meetings and training sessions.
- Adheres to local, state, and national testing procedures.
