Instructional Coaching: 30% * Build coaching relationships and investments in new teachers* Provide differentiated coaching supports based on cycles of inquiry and teacher needs* Use coaching cycles with pre-conference, modeling/ co-teaching, observation and debriefing Professional Development: 25% * Experience implementing the workshop model in Reading, Writing and Math* Build capacity of teachers to access complex text and its academic language* Support technology integration through blended and personalized learning platforms* Implement differentiated small group instruction (i.e. guided reading)* Coordinate language and literacy through integrated and designated ELD Teacher Collaboration - Professional Learning Communities (PLCs): 25% * Use data to conduct cycles of inquiry and to engage teacher teams in data-driven instruction (DDI)* Engage PLCs in standards-based backwards mapping and unit planning* Knowledge of F&P, SRI, IAB assessments and data platforms (i.e. Illuminate)* Familiar with SBAC claims and targets, rigor and depth of knowledge (DOK)* Support progress monitoring through the use of common formative assessments Targeted Interventions: 20% * Serve as a key member on the Instruction Leadership Team (ILT)* Create professional learning plan aligned to the site plan goals and priorities* Support a robust Response to Intervention and Instruction (RtI) model * Serve as the site Testing Coordinator Who we are:OUSD is a diverse urban school district that is intensely focused on student achievement. Who we're looking for:

Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree, must be eligible for employment in the US and pass a criminal background check. Candidates must possess, or be eligible to receive, a California teaching credential authorizing instruction in core curriculum.
