Elementary Teachers needed in Abu Dhabi.- August 2019. PYP preferred. Grade 1.

 

Elementary Teacher - with a PYP background or at a minimum experience teaching in an inquiry based system with experience in Readers Writers workshop. Experienced teachers are needed for the next academic year.

Applicants must have at least a Bachelor’s Degree and teaching qualification such as a Post Graduate Certificate in Education, Masters in Education or Bachelors of Education. Our jobs are not teaching English as a Foreign Language, and a TEFL certificate alone is not sufficient teacher training.

Teachers are expected to be relevantly qualified and experienced within their specialized age range or subject area, preferably with a North American and/or IB background to reflect the curriculum and delivery method of choice. Teachers need to be comfortable and confident working with children of many different cultures and nationalities where there is a strong emphasis on differentiated delivery on many levels. All applicants must have 1-2 years of teaching experience, a requirement for the local ministry of education
