Salary Range: $33.298- $40.320/hr

Essential Functions and Objectives:

* Leads school through the IB authorization and reauthorization process.

* Collaborates with school leaders and educators to align IB Program expectations with the programmatic expectations of the Denver Plan

* Attends training on IB programs and becomes well versed on all project initiatives in order to provide coaching and support to the administrative, teaching, and counseling staffs at the school.

* Meets regularly with school-based leadership teams to set implementation benchmarks and to monitor project status. Assists school leadership in capturing program data, disaggregating and analyzing data, and developing improvement strategies based on data review.

* Meets weekly with all grade level teams to design concept based inquiry units of instructions. These units are based on the Colorado Academic standards and the Common Core State standards.

* Partners with parents, community groups and businesses at the school level to gain understanding for IB support and accomplishments.

* Develops coordinated material acquisition plan.

* Develops coordinated professional development plans.

* Partners with appropriate stakeholders to ensure a sustainable IB financial plan.

Knowledge, Experience & Other Qualifications:

* Experience with curriculum development and professional development preferred;

* Demonstrated successful experiences as a teacher, staff developer or coach preferred.

* Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

* Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with students, faculty, and staff.

* Highly organized with ability to organize own work and set priorities; work both independently and collaboratively.

* Knowledge of best instructional practices and procedures.

* Superior communication skills

* Excellent presentation skills.

* Good analytic skills with experience in data collection and organization for evaluation purposes.

* Experience living abroad preferred.

* Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Education Requirements:

* Bachelor's Degree required

* Master's Degree in curriculum and instruction preferred

* Knowledge of accreditation standards and processes for the IB program

* Demonstrated ability in a leadership position

* Excellent knowledge of best practices in curriculum delivery and development

* Proven track record of working collaboratively with colleagues
