QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must have or be eligible for Virginia licensure.

  • Knowledge of best practices and experience teaching elementary school students with emotional disabilities.

  • Knowledge of the academic, social and emotional needs of students with emotional disabilities.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide therapeutic support to students identified with emotional disabilities.

  • Collaborate with regular school staff, student services staff and families.

SALARY:
Summer School teachers who are APS employees during the year will be paid the Non-VRS equivalant rate.Retired APS teachers will be paid $47.73 per hour per APS pay plan.Non-APS licensed summer school teachers will be paid $32.50 per hour.
