Teacher-Leader Talent Pool Application - February 4th- July 17th

Our program provides an advanced career path for excellent teacher-leaders. The excellent educators that take on these roles earn anywhere from $2,250-$18,250 per year on top of their base salary! These teacher-leaders directly reach more students with excellent instruction and impact student achievement by leading their teams and coaching teachers in order to build capacity within the school. Positions vary in leadership, experience level, and expertise and are determined through a talent pool process. Candidates applying to the Teacher-Leader Talent Pool will be asked the following questions in this application.

2. If you are an internal applicant, what is your CMS 5-digit ID#? If external, please type ?external?.

3. Please identify your current school, district, and state.

4. Are you a current teacher or support staff (AP, Dean, Facilitator, etc)?

5. Are you a Teach For America member or a TFA Alum?

6. How did you hear about our teacher-leader program?

7. How many years of teaching experience have you completed?

10. I understand that in order to be considered for any teacher-leader role in this program I must present current and valid summative evaluations from the past two years and evaluation ratings must be proficient or greater.

11. Upload your most recent end-of-year summative evaluation. Note: only 1 file can be uploaded.

12. Upload your second most recent end-of-year summative evaluation. Note: only 1 file can be uploaded.

13. I understand that in order to be considered for any teacher-leader role in this program I must present the most recent and valid growth data for at least 1 year.

14. Please use the ?Impact on Student Achievement? template provided to upload your most recent data (use EVAAS growth or comparable state end-of-year assessment data, only normed assessments will be accepted). If you were not in a classroom but in a support role, please upload data for the grade level(s) or subject area(s) you supported. Note: only 1 file can be uploaded.

15. I understand that in order to be considered for any teacher-leadership role in this program I must be able to demonstrate effective leadership abilities to increase student achievement and/or build teacher capacity through leading other adults.

16. Please use the ?Leadership Impact? template provided to upload your response regarding leadership in relation to improving student achievement. Note: only 1 file can be uploaded.

After you submit your application above, you will be emailed a link to participate in a virtual interview round which will further assess your leadership experience and ability to lead other adults to improve their teaching practice. The 5-7 question interview lasts approximately 45-60 minutes and will allow the screening committee to determine which position(s) you qualify for in the talent pool. All responses regarding your professional experience should detail events that have taken place within the last 2-3 years.
