Elementary Teacher -2nd Grade Short Term Substitute

1. NYS certification Childhood Ed 1-6 or Early Childhood B-2 required
2. Experience with guided reading, Writers' Workshop and Fountas & Pinnell benchmarks, along with EnVisions, math Sprints (fluency), STAR assessments (Renaissance Learning) preferred
3. Possess deep understanding of instruction in CCLS
4. Ability to use Data Driven Instruction to improve student achievement
5. Evidence of ability to cooperate and collaborate with grade level team and special area teachers
6. Evidence of academic success at undergraduate and/or graduate level
7. Strong written and oral communication skills
8. Strong work ethic; ability to communicate well with families
