Description
The Recruiting Talent Sourcer creatively seeks out, identifies and screens applicants to fill tough-to-find existing and future job openings and promotes career opportunities within the organization.
We are looking for someone to work as a full time Contract Recruiting Talent Sourcer supporting both the Academic Services and Corporate teams. This will be a hourly position working 40 hours plus a week and applicants ideally live in the metro DC area.
Start Date: February 4, 2019 or as soon as possible
• Manages the research and sourcing recruitment process for assigned clients;
• Contacts applicants to inform them of employment possibilities, consideration, and selection;
• Sources candidates using resources including but not limited to: applicant tracking system, job boards, social networks;
• Informs potential applicants about facilities, operations, benefits, and job or career opportunities in organizations;
• Screens and refers applicants to hiring personnel in the organization, making recommendations when appropriate;
• Performs searches for qualified candidates according to relevant job criteria, using computer databases, networking, Web-based recruiting resources, cold calls, media, recruiting firms, and employee referrals;
• Reviews and evaluates applicant qualifications or eligibility for specified licensing, according to established guidelines and designated licensing codes. Requirements
Bachelor's degree and 1 year experience in a professional recruiting, sales or customer service role; OR Combination of equivalent education and experience.
OTHER REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES:
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to exercise sound judgment throughout recruiting lifecycle
• Proficiency in using word processing and spreadsheet software, Internet, Applicant Tracking Systems and Email
• Ability to quickly learn systems, processes, and procedures
• Proven ability to work effectively with project teams and clients
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Experience in full lifecycle recruiting including sourcing, qualifying, networking, and relationship management
