• Collaborates with the Senior Director, Talent Development on the development and implementation of a comprehensive professional development and training program for teachers;
• Creating engaging learning activities and compelling course content for teachers;
• Work with and become the instructional subject matter expert in identifying and designing target audience's training needs;
• Create, load, and monitor classes on the Learning Management System
• Author training systems procedural manuals and supporting documentation for training programs and systems in accordance with organizational/departmental requirements and curricula;
• Facilitates capa
city building and successful goal attainment through coaching, professional learning networks, problem solving and strategic planning;
• Conduct instructional research and analysis on learners and contexts;
• Provide exercises and activities that enhance the learning process;
• Provide real time support to adult learners enrolled in courses;
• Organize and facilitate new teacher training and onboarding;
• Develop teaching aids such as training handbooks, demonstration models, multimedia visual aids, and reference materials;
• Develop and coordinate new teacher mentor program;
• Create supporting material/media (audio, video, simulations, role plays, games etc)
• Decide on the criteria used to judge learner's performance and develop assessment instruments;
• Conduct seminars, workshops, and small group training sessions (selects and books venues);
• Monitors and analyzes implementation and program outcomes across K12 schools, and ensure data is being used to monitor performance, improve practices and teacher effectiveness;
• Design and develop storyboards, course content, materials, assessments, and evaluations in appropriate computer-based methodology;
• Develops clear and concise documentation for work instructions, job aids, reference materials, and user guides;
• Establish and maintain project documentation libraries in SharePoint / Office365 including the use of version control;
• Partners with Data Science team to measure effectiveness of programs;
• Actively participates in all leadership team meetings;
• Acts as a liaison between school level, regional and corporate staff to determine immediate needs, issues, and support for the individual schools;
• Additional duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no formal supervisory responsibilities.
Requirements
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's degree in Education or similar field of study AND
• Five (5) years of related experience in virtual teaching or adult education or experience in Instructional Design OR
• Equivalent combination of education and experience
• Understanding of effective training methodologies and a true passion for working with adult learners

Certificates and Licenses: None required.

OTHER REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Ability to travel up to 25% of time
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, Excel; Web proficiency.
• Ability to pass required background check

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Instructional Design Certification
• Master's degree in Education or related field
