Role Mission: The Regional Student Recruitment Coordinator (RSRC) is responsible for the planning, development and execution of regional recruitment strategies which will assist IDEA schools to meet 100% enrollment goals. The RSRC will lead the regional recruiting team to promote and raise awareness about IDEA to potential parents by organizing effective recruitment events while positively representing IDEA Public Schools.

Accountabilities:

1. Ensure 100% of schools are fully enrolled by the first day of school
  • Actively work with Headquarters and Regional Director of Operations.
  • Pla n and direct recruitment strategies and tactics to achieve regional goals.
  • Develop and execute student recruitment efforts that target families with school-aged children within the 1 to 3-mile radius immediately surrounding each school.
• Schedule and attend community events and informational fairs to inform eligible families and promote IDEA Public Schools .
  • Schedule, a ttend , and deliver off-site presentations to daycares, housing authorities, community centers and other organizations who serve primarily low-income families .
  • Participate in neighborhood walks and door-to-door presentations in neighborhoods near IDEA schools .
  • Assist parents in completing a paper or online application.
  • Any and all other duties as assigned by Regional Director of Operations or National Recruiting and Enrollment team.


2. Secure 20% of Target Applicants for Open Seats at Existing Campuses
  • Lead team members to effectively recruit new families with specific application goals per grade level .
  • Validat e application data integrity and m onitor quality of all applications submitted.
  • Maintain and cultivate a wait list after lottery.


3. Develops Recruiting Staff
  • Train, support, and supervise assigned staff to perform recruitment activities.
  • Ensure the professional development of all recruiters.
  • Support campuses on the application, lottery and registration processes.


4. 90% New Family Persistence for Recruited Families
  • Ensure all new families are effectively on-boarded beginning with Lottery .
  • Monitor parent participation throughout the recruiting year.
  • Collaborate with campuses on recruiting events to greet new families.


5 . Score 90% o n IDEA Proficiency Exams
  • Learn the intricacies of the IDEA Public Schools model
  • Attend program observations in existing regions
  • Take assessments after observations

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma (required)
  • Some college (preferred)
  • 3-5 years' experience in management, sales, recruiting, event coordination, project management, or other related field.

Compensation:
  • Salary for this role typically falls between $ 15.38/ hr and $ 19.22/ hr commensurate with relevant experience and qualifications.
