The United Schools Network (USN) is a nonprofit organization that starts and manages urban charter public schools that close the achievement gap and prepare low-income students to graduate from college. The network includes two high-performing middle schools, and two high-performing elementary schools. We are seeking a Talent and Operations Intern to provide support to the Talent Director and Operations Director.

Joining Our Team
United Schools Network will consider hiring a part-time Talent & Operations Intern who:

Talent Support
• Regularly updates talent and human resource related databases.
• Assists in the preparation of new hire paperwork.
• Researches and collects data for various talent and human resource initiatives.
• Actively maintains employee files to ensure accuracy. Includes printing, copying, scanning, assembly, shredding, and distribution of documents.
• Resolves issues related to employee files (as directed by Talent Director).

Operations Support
• Efficiently handles printing, copying, scanning, assembly, shredding, and distribution of documents as needed.
• Manages USN meeting spaces, making sure they are prepared for guests.
• Manages the purchase request process for the Home Office.
• Efficiently schedules, manages the budget for, and carries out logistics for network events. Ensures each event is documented and conducts event debriefs for continuous improvement.

Experience & Qualifications
United Schools Network will consider hiring a part-time Talent & Operations Intern who:

• Bachelor's degree preferred; 1-2 year minimum of office experience preferred (internships qualify).
• Technological proficiency in Google and Microsoft Office.

The Talent & Operations Intern will be eligible to participate in either Ohio's State Teacher Retirement System or School Employee Retirement System.
