Minimum: Tutor without degree: experience in after school programs.

Preferred: Post-secondary education up to a four year degree. Ability to speak Spanish. Mentoring experience.

To provide one on one or small group tutoring to student K-6.

All functions are performed in accordance with established polocies, procedures, safety and environmental regulations, facility and computer security polocies and procedures. Functions are subject to change from time to time to meet the needs of the organization. Current essential functions include the following: (1) Provides tutoring to a student or small group of students; (2) Leads students in organized group activities; (3) Supervises students in unstructured times/ activities - playground, field trips, etc.; (4) Maintains appropriate student/ site required records; (5) Assists in the preparation of tutoring/ activity materials; (6) Advises site-coordinator/ lead teacher on students, needs and progress; (7) attends after-school site meeting; (8) Edtablishes connections with parents/ family of at-risk students; (9) Other duties that support student and program success.
