POSITION: Senior Executive Advisor for Culinary & Hospitality Academy

REPORTS TO: Principal of Culinary Academy PRIMARY FUNCTION: 1. To design and advise regarding the operations of the culinary and hospitality program. 2. To serve as industry resource for the culinary staff and as the liaison to the Culinary Advisory Board 3. To align programs with authentic experience and post secondary preparation.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
1. Experienced chef -- required.
2. Culinary experience to include managerial capacity. 3. Ability to use technology and technological tools and software. 4. Bachelor's degree or a minimum of Associates degree in culinary art, hospitality or related field preferred. 5. Minimum of 5 years experience as a Chef preferred. 6. A network of contacts within the culinary industry, including corporate, education, organizational and media preferred. 7. Experience in creating partnerships with local businesses and organizations preferred. 8. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills 9. Experience working with a diverse population CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Qualified Food Operator Certificate (QFO).
SALARY AND TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Salary is based on experience and qualifications. (70,000 +) Eleven month work schedule.
