The Saranac Central School District
The Saranac Central School District Board of Education announces a search for a Superintendent of Schools. The Board is seeking a candidate who has had a range of experience, skills and competencies working with boards of education, community, staff and students. There are three buildings with approximately 1,523 students enrolled in grades K-12. Saranac (www.saranac.org) is located in Clinton County approximately 15 miles west of Plattsburgh and 35 miles east of Lake Placid, New York. The district is located in the Townships of Saranac, Plattsburgh, Beekmantown, Black Brook, Schuyler Falls and Dannemora. The successful candidate must possess a NYS certificate as a School District Administrator (SDA)/School District Leader (SDL).
