Director of Human Resources –Search Reopened

The West Chester Area School District is seeking a dynamic leader to be responsible for the Human Resources functions for a large suburban School District with over 1,400 employees. The primary functions for this position include the recruiting and hiring of personnel; development and implementation of the District's personnel policies and benefit programs; negotiations and administration of labor contracts; overseeing employee relations, and preparation of the salary & benefit costs for the District budget.

Candidates must have a minimum of five (5) years experience in human resource management and/or equivalent experience with business or educational administrative functions; Master’s degree in human resource management or related field preferred.  Candidates must have knowledge of school laws, labor relations, compensation, benefits management, educational personnel, school code, and educational certification. Candidate must be skilled in the use of current technologies.  Current salary range is $123,599 to $152,682.
