Grand Island Public Schools is seeking to hire a Director of Secondary Education. Serving as an integral member of the Teaching & Learning team, this position provides leadership and support to middle schools, high school, alternative education programs and our newly developed career/technical/vocational institute. Preferred candidates will have at least 5-7 years of secondary education (curriculum/administrative) experience, preferably at the high school level with demonstrated success in leading student achievement initiatives. Experience working with highly diverse populations is highly desirable. Advanced Degree (Education Specialist or Doctorate) in education is preferred. Must possess, or be eligible to obtain a NE Administrative Certificate (K-12 or 6-12). Application instructions can be found on the district website www.gips.org
