Blackfoot School District serves 4267 students in one high school, one alternative high school, one middle school, and eight elementary schools. The student body is a diverse mixture of ethnicities with 17% American Indian and 23% Hispanic students. A portion of the Fort Hall Indian Reservation lies within the boundaries of the school district. There are approximately 500 employees. The successful candidate will have experience in working with a diverse student and staff population. A complete job description is available on the district’s website.
QUALIFICATIONS: Must have an education specialist degree or its equivalent from an accredited institution. Must possess a current Idaho Administrator Certificate with a Superintendent Endorsement. Must have a minimum of five years of experience in school administration.
