Assistant School Superintendent, Exceptional Children Services

With a Master’s degree in Special Education and a passion to create new pathways for young people, you can join us as our Assistant Superintendent for our Exceptional Children Department and as Zone Superintendent for our two public separate schools for students with disabilities.
Requirements include:
- 10 years’ experience in special education program implementation in a supervisory position (three years as a school principal highly desirable)
- Licensed or eligibility to hold a North Carolina superintendent’s license, school administrative license or curriculum/instruction specialist (supervisor) license
- Strong ability to lead which results in continuous program improvement and outcomes for students with disabilities.
