In alignment with its goals, our team of academic professionals is executing the critical groundwork for the future. With a Master’s degree in Special Education and a passion to create new pathways for young people, you can join us as our Assistant Superintendent for our Exceptional Children Department and as Zone Superintendent for our two public separate schools for students with disabilities.

Requirements include:

  • 10 years’ experience in special education program implementation in a supervisory position (three years as a school principal highly desirable)
  • Licensed or eligibility to hold a North Carolina superintendent’s license, school administrative license or curriculum/instruction specialist (supervisor) license
  • Strong ability to lead which results in continuous program improvement and outcomes for students with disabilities.

We’re creating extraordinary services that enhance the potential for our students with disabilities in the most dramatic ways. This is your rare opportunity to join the motivators and academic pioneers who are shaping the leaders of tomorrow.
