The Hunter College Campus Schools, nationally celebrated K-12 public schools for intellectually gifted students governed by Hunter College of the City University of New York, has an opening for Assistant Principal (Grades 7-9).
RESPONSIBILITIES

Provides leadership in educating gifted and talented students at Hunter College Campus Schools in grades 7-9: - Oversees master schedule and all functions of the student information system for grades 7-12 MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS A Master’s degree and three years’ teaching experience. New York State certification as a School Administrator Supervisor (SAS), School Building Leader (SBL), or School District Administrator (SDA) preferred and required within the first four years of employment. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Supervisory experience in a school setting; experience working with intellectually gifted students; a vision for creating a middle school experience within a grade 7-12 school; experience working with school counselors and learning specialists to assist students in need. COMPENSATION Hunter College Campus Schools follows the salary guidelines of the New York City Department of Education. This is a 12-month, Assistant Principal position.
