The Grand Island Central School District Board of Education is seeking an outstanding school leader as its next Superintendent of Schools. This Pre K-12 District of 3300 students is located in Erie County, New York on the banks of the historic Niagara River in close proximity to both Buffalo, and Niagara Falls, NY.
The district has three elementary schools, a middle and high school. The district is known for its academic rigor and commitment to excellence.
The district's 2012-13 spending plan of $53,079,789 was passed with overwhelming voter approval.
The salary for the 2013-14 school year will be in the range of $145,000 to $175,000 depending on experience, preparation, and achievement as a school leader. This is an outstanding opportunity for a school administrator committed to excellence and academic success for all students.
