POSITION: Part-Time Teachers - Special Education Department

REPORTS TO:Senior Director for Special Education

Primary Function: To provide one to one instruction to students with disabilities.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
  1. Pedagogical skills in literacy and numeracy required.
  2. Ability to work well with students, preferably in a school site.
  3. Knowledgeable in accommodations and modifications of the general education curriculum.
  4. Flexible schedule to accommodate up to 17.5 hours per week of instruction.
CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Certified teachers in general and/or special education or highly qualified in literacy and/or numeracy. Retirees welcome to apply.

SALARY AND TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
$29.75 per hour
