Position opens March 5, 2010 and closes April 7, 2010. The Executive Director of Technology and Information Services provides vision and leadership for all technology initiatives in the school district, coordinating and directing the integration of administrative and instructional technology applications. This includes establishment of district technology strategies, organization, and structure to support effective integration of technology into the classroom instructional program and to maximize service delivery to administrative offices. The Executive Director of Technology serves on various district leadership committees, capital projects steering team and reports directly to the Associate Superintendent for School Support Services. The Executive Director of Technology and Information Services is responsible for an annual operating budget in excess of $6 million and a technology capital bond fund of $26 million over a 6-year life cycle, while overseeing a diverse staff of 58 located at several sites throughout the district.
