Sonoma Valley Unified School District seeks a visionary leader who can work effectively with the school, the District and the community in creating an engaging learning environment that prepares students for college and career in the 21st century. The Board of Education seeks an experienced educational leader who will advocate for all students in building academic success, foster high expectations for all students, maintain a qualified staff, enhance the professional development program for teachers, classified staff and administrators, and build upon the strong cooperative and supportive relationships with parents and community members.
A competitive and negotiable salary and benefit package is offered. Work year is 222 days. Effective date July 1, 2010. The District considers bilingual (Spanish) skills to be desirable for all vacancies. Screening begins March 19th.
