Job Description
The Board of Trustees is seeking outstanding candidates for the Superintendent of Schools of the Manhattan Beach Unified School District. The Manhattan Beach Unified School District has an enrollment of approximately 6,300 students in grades kindergarten through 12, housed in seven schools including five elementary (K-5), one middle school (6-8) and one high school. A preschool program is also offered. The district serves the entire city of Manhattan Beach, a coastal community of about three square miles, located within minutes of the Los Angeles airport.

The salary compensation package is competitive and will be commensurate with experience. The deadline for receipt of applications is February 24, 2010, 4:00 p.m. with a starting date of employment on or before July 1, 2010.
