Director of Accountability
National Heritage Academies is seeking a Director of Accountability to provide technical knowledge and skill to MRA and the NHA enterprise by helping create a system to gather, organize, analyze, report and explain the state and federal educational performance and accountability data. The system shall be designed to help the enterprise document, understand, predict and instruct the corporation on leading and lagging student and school performance indicators. It shall also include purposeful outputs designed to promote standardized learning reporting to assist in the implementation of effective instructional practices that result in uniquely high student achievement. Qualified candidates will have an aptitude and curiosity for educational measurement, data analysis and presentation. In particular, candidates should have a desire to understand State and Federal student performance measurement and school performance metrics. Responsibilities: • Research growth modeling, predictive and analytics, program evaluation, survey design, research methodology and educational policy. • Assist with creating, communicating, managing and promoting the MRA Team purposes, goals, and initiatives. • Participate in developing and delivery of training modules to internal and external clients to promote the understanding and proper use of educational data. Qualifications: • Bachelors Degree and Masters Degree and/or Doctorate in an appropriate area of education statistics, qualitative and quantitative measurement, technology, instruction, curriculum, learning, administration, educational policy or other related field. • Minimum 10 years of professional experience with demonstrated leadership experience within academia. • Preferred experience within Department of Education.
