School Administrative Unit (SAU) #34, which includes the Hillsboro-Deering Cooperative School District and the Washington and Windsor School Districts, invites qualified candidates to apply for the position of Superintendent of Schools. This position is to begin on July 1, 2010. These four quintessential New England towns, located in southwestern New Hampshire, enjoy easy access to the White Mountains, the Lakes Region, the seacoast and Boston, Massachusetts. The K-12 cooperative district houses its 1500 students in three buildings: one elementary school, a recently constructed middle school, and a modern high school. Washington provides for its 65 elementary students in one K-5 school. The district possesses a dedicated, well qualified staff and an engaged community all committed to providing for the full range of student needs. SAU #34 offers a multiyear contract with a competitive salary and benefits package, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
