World Savvy is a national education nonprofit that addresses the need for global competence by partnering with educators, schools, and districts to integrate the highest quality of global competence teaching and learning into K-12 classrooms, so all young people can be prepared to meet the challenges of global citizenship. Summary: The Director of Partnerships (DP) is a member of the senior leadership team and a seasoned, entrepreneurial sales professional responsible for expanding World Savvy’s base of K-12 partner schools and districts, as well as increasing the number of teachers participating in its programs.
With a proven sales/development background and deep experience in the field of education, the DP will:
- Develop and execute against a plan to strategically introduce World Savvy to new K-12 school and district partners, and drive K-12 teacher enrollment in the Global Competence Certificate (GCC)
- Broaden and maximize recruitment from World Savvy’s existing partners and open up new sales channels
- Support the expansion and maintenance of partnerships with educational organizations that accelerate World Savvy’s reach and impact in accordance with our strategic plan.
The DP reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer and will be a strong and recognized organizational leader who can effectively represent World Savvy.
